Invasive species cause the extinction of natives, alter environments, and typically out-compete native organisms for limited resources. Are we the invasive species? I often visualize an image of humans spawning from a structure, isolating ourselves in uninhabited environments. We have advanced the exponential growth of climate change and sabotaged vital ecological services provided by ecosystems. We, humans, engage in interspecies competition for land and resources. However, as resources become limited, we confront intraspecies domination that targets native and indigenous cultures. I contorted clones of an individual to demonstrate how corporations frame individuals as the source of our environmental issues. These artificial entities spread narratives through ad campaigns to dodge accountability for their actions. The activity we are presently engaged in is driving the 6th mass extinction. As the rate of Anthropogenic climate change unnaturally spikes, our oceans will rise, as with the competition for resources, creating a frenzy of uncertainty.
